Prophetess Maria K. Coston is the visionary behind GOD GOT YOU MINISTRIES, a ministry open to worshippers of all ages and backgrounds. With a heart full of faith and a deep passion for serving others, Prophetess Coston leads our congregation in worship, deepening the connection to God, and guiding individuals toward a vibrant faith in Jesus Christ.

Prophetess Coston answered her calling on April 23, 2009, and was officially installed as Prophetess on January 15, 2022. Her journey of faith and leadership has been deeply rooted in the Norfolk, Virginia area. Prophetess Coston served at Brotherly Love C.O.G.I.C. under the leadership of Pastor Gary Preston Sr. as an inspirational speaker, choir member, praise and worship leader, and Praise Dance President. She is also the founder and president of the Spirit Praise Dance Team, where she teaches young girls both praise dance and the Word of God, and she created a children’s choir for all ages.

Her service continued at Faith Deliverance C.O.G.I.C. under the leadership of Superintendent Lemuel Williams, where she served as a Praise and Worship Leader, Praise Dance and Choreography Director, Choir Member, and Inspirational Speaker. Motivated by her personal experience of God's life-saving grace, Prophetess Coston felt inspired to establish GOD GOT YOU MINISTRIES, a faith-driven ministry that utilizes worship, music, dance, sound doctrine, and community giving to spread the message of God’s love.

Prophetess Coston holds an Associate of Applied Science in Human Services from Tidewater Community College and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Counseling. She is a certified Personal Care Assistant who has a passion for serving her clients and is also the Founder of Kidz Zone Childcare and God Got You Ministries.

Prophetess Coston’s dedication to the Word of God, along with the support of her leadership team, staff, members, and volunteers, is what makes GOD GOT YOU MINISTRIES a place where the teachings of Jesus Christ are shared through spoken word, written word, spiritual songs, hymns, psalms, and dance. Our mission is to bring others into a deeper relationship with God, knowing that no matter the circumstances, God Got You.
